Riven (Legacy) for Mobile App Reviews

Words cannot describe how amazing this game is.

Just finished replaying Riven, absolutely amazing experience. The app was stable and reliable. Some minor interface issues but overall these games are a major highlight to my life. I wasnt able to play them before, because of system requirements, but now theyre for the iPhone or iPad its a dream come true. PLEASE keep releasing these games, I will pay good money for this to continue. Thanks!

Still some 10 years later this is the best adventure simulation of all time

I grew up playing Schizm when I was young, had the The myst as well but never played it on PC. I loved Schizm so much and I know this will be just as great, and better!!! Youll be playing this game for hours on end, such a great price for a amazing game.

This game is amazing, although its age does show. The touch controls are a bit iffy at times, but that doesnt stop the game from being a great immersive experience.

Nothing to compare with the room. Its a waste of money

97年にPCで発売された、MYSTシリーズの2作目Rivenが手軽にiphoneアプリでできるようになったというだけでだいぶ満足。

Of course it is an immense pleasure to be playing such a great game on iPhone! I however consider myself cheated by the "high quality images" claim: this claim is false, and some pictures are horribly compressed, in such a way that really distracts from the game experience. Otherwise, quite excellent. Bring on the 3gb HD version, theres demand for it!

あのMYSTの続編RIVENがiPhoneで遊べるなんて夢の様です！ 夜寝る前にRIVENの世界を散歩してます。 島の移動にディスク交換もないですしサクサク動くので最高です。 MYST III EXILEがリリースされるのも期待してます！ サウンドが良いのでヘッドホンでプレイするのがオススメです。

Low-res pics with jpg artefacts, absolutely ugly interface and no water animation anymore!! DONT BUY IT

This game was made in 1997, so graphics from original game. OMG its classics!

What about ExilE for iPhone to?

I understand that they needed to reduce the size of this app, but at what cost? The images that looked stunning on the original release now look like they all have horrible, lossy JPEG artifacts. The release of the original Myst on iOS didnt have this problem, though those images were obviously a lot less detailed. Unfortunately, with this release of Riven, the pixelation of the images seriously detracts from what is otherwise an amazing game. Its not worth it and I regret purchasing.

A waste of time, a waste of money & a waste of a great games reputation. Cant give it zero stars, so it gets only one.

I got this when I finished realMyst and I am really disappointed with the controls I hate the tap the sides thing to look around and you dont move around the way you do in realMyst. And the graphics are very grainy and I can barely see anything, please fix this as well.

When this game came out I remember sitting fondly with my friend at his computer constantly switching disks (there were five on all) and exploring this gorgeous world with all its gorgeous sights and sounds. While I hear everyone complain about the gameplay all I have to say is yeah there is a lot of clicking involved; its kind of a "point and click adventure game" so thats par for the course. The thing this game does have going for it though are some genius puzzles and an absolutely breathtaking art design. So if you dont mind clicking a lot then prepare to be swept up on an absolutely gorgeous adventure!

Love the app but Im a little mad that I paid for it and they made one for iPad instead of making the one I have compatible. Dont wanna buy it again :( grrrrrr

Its a great app. It is much nicer than switching discs every time I go to a different island.
